About Me

Hello!

Did you ever get so caught up in your daily grind that you barely had a second to figure out what you truly wanted to do with your life? That was totally me until not long ago. Working full time, bringing up three amazing kids (the joys of my life!) along with my husband didn’t leave me much time to think. Since I retired from my teaching job, I’ve had lots of time to think, and I’ve realized I really want to dive into organizing my own home and help others do the same.

I’ve always been that person who can’t even start working until my space is just right. I’m constantly organizing my own home. As a former teacher, I enjoyed organizing and decorating my classroom more than the actual teaching. I visit family and friends and can’t help but imagine how I’d reorganize their spaces. Sometimes, I even wake up in the middle of the night thinking about where to put furniture and how to arrange stuff… Crazy, huh? My husband always jokes about all of the baskets we have in our home! But honestly, I love it, I’m super passionate about it, and it gives me such a sense of fulfillment, peace, and joy.

Now that I’ve got some extra time on my hands with the kids off to college and my retirement, I figured it’s the perfect moment to start a blog and maybe even an organizing business! So, buckle up, here we go! I’m super excited you’re joining me on this journey, and I really hope I can help you get your home organized, room by room, to bring a bit of peace, joy, and maybe a little controlled chaos to your cozy corner of the world!

A little bit more about myself – I’m a former elite gymnast. I attended Penn State University and occasionally return to attend a home football game. I’m married with three amazing children in college – I’m a proud mama! My husband is probably my best friend. I love watching college football – my favorite teams are Penn State and Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech has the best college football entrance in my humble opinion (Enter Sandman). I love to decorate and organize my home (and other people’s homes!) I’m an avid fan of hot power yoga. Finally, I’d really love to travel – particularly to Europe (Italy mostly).
